EMOTION DAILY: Connecting the mobile world to mobile art.

This website is dedicated to all photographers using mobile phones to capture moments of emotion in everyday life.

The mobile phone has become the new instant camera. You always have it with you, it is very light, and the quality of the optics allows you to take good quality pictures.

Of course, we cannot compare an Iphone with a DSLR, especially in low light conditions, but the manufacturers have made such improvements that the mobile phone is now taken seriously by an increasing proportion of the photographic world.

Last but not the least, there are a lot of apps on both IOS and Androïd platforms allowing you to edit pictures the way you like. Actually, the darkroom is now in the palm of your hand, and that’s an amazing evolution for those who want to add a personal touch to their photographs.

For us, whatever the camera you use, when it comes to fine art photography, the most important thing is the feeling. Here, we build a link between Fine Art Photography and this new form of photography called « Mobile Photography ». We talk about everything related to photography that can inspire our increasing community.

This space is a window through which you can discover mobile photographers from all over the world, and even be part of the show.

Cécile Bio 150x150 About My name is Cécile Edelist. I am a french parisian who has lived some time in Canada and in the US.

My interests in birdwatching, modern art and architecture are probably what naturally led me to photography.
Even though my urban lifestyle makes me side with street photography, my passion for photography is much broader.
I currently take all my pictures with an Iphone. I find it magical to have constantly a camera and a photo lab in my pocket.

I am a member of Tiny Collective since December 2012.

I have been working in the field of graphic arts for 25 years. I was introduced to photography through ink and paper. I ran for about ten years a french company specialized in printing photography books. I learned a lot in talking with famous photographers near the printing machines. Printed or displayed, photography quickly became essential to me.  Today I bring my consulting on topics related to photography printing and I take pictures with my iPhone in my spare time. To me, the mobile photography movement is a new form of artistic expression.
